Patching Things Up

I was digging around in my mom's old sewing room (looking for a tape measure, if you must know, to measure my neck for a noose) when I found an old Tupperware container full of ribbons in my favorite colors when I was a kid -- purple, pink, turquoise, lime green. And inside the box, in one of those old sandwich bags where you fold the top over to keep your sandwich extra stale, I discovered these patches. My mom was a crafty one and I spent hours of my childhood in fabric stores, begging her to buy me little bits of crap. Some of those patches were sewn on various clothing projects and then taken off when I grew out of them. Some were probably never used at all.

It's The Deer Hunter! Get It?! IT'S A DEER, AND IT'S A HUNTER.
